Srides for the Spectrum 5K 2014

The grey, rainy skies didn’t dampen the turnout for the over 160 racers who attended CCCD’s 2nd Annual Strides for the Spectrum 5K race, on April 26, 2014. We would especially like to thank Courtney Honda for supporting us for the 2nd year in a row with a Platinum donation. And thank you to new donors, Topo Athletic for their donation of a pair of running shoes to our Overall Male and Overall Female Winners. We would also like to thank the following generous sponsors for providing delicious post-race refreshments: Rita’s Ice Milford, Subway, Julia’s Bakery, Joey’s Roadhouse, Icing on the Cake and Stratford Pepsi. And we can’t forget the many other amazing businesses who support us: Title 1 Boxing, Bend Yoga and Wellness, Advanced Spine and Sport, Studio Z Fitness, Topo Athletic, and Sisbarro Painting. The race raised over $5,000 for the Adult Services Program.

Suds for the Spectrum, Two Roads Brewing, Stratford, CT

Many friends of CCCD joined us at Two Roads Brewery in Stratford on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 to raise a glass of delicious beer for a great cause: CCCD’s Adult Services Program. The money raised at this event helped us achieve our mission of improving the lives of individuals with autism and related disorders and the lives of their families by enabling them to become active participants and contributing members within their families and communities.

Attendees enjoyed craft beers, delicious small bites, live music from the always impressive Mike Cusato Band (with IEP’s own Dr. Erik Mayville!) and some awesome silent auction items, too.
