The Connecticut Center for Child Development (CCCD) is a Connecticut approved, private, special education provider for students aged between 3 -21. We have a private school campuses in Milford, CT and one in Orange, CT. Our school programs provide state of the art, individualized, educational programs for individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities based on the principles and methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We serve students who are diagnosed anywhere along the autism spectrum, from those who are significantly impacted to those who have a diagnosis of high function autism or Asperger’s Syndrome or related disabilities.
We employ empirically validated instructional strategies and have a staff ratio of better than 1:1 which enables us to ensure that all programming is individualized and designed to meet the specific needs of each individual student. Our goal is to ensure that each student maximizes their potential, experiences an improved quality of life for themselves and their families, and transitions to adulthood with the skills necessary to be active participants and contributing members within their families and communities.
