Suzanne Letso, M.A., BCBA
Chief Executive Officer

Suzanne Letso is the co-founder and CEO of CCCD. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Southern Connecticut State University, a M.A. in Leadership from Duquesne University, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Prior to her work related to behavior analysis, Suzanne worked as a marketing executive for international medical product manufacturers, where she was involved in new product, business, and venture capital start-up initiatives. In addition, she has been involved in organizational assessment and development of for-profit enterprises in other fields. Suzanne currently serves as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. She is on the Scientific Advisory Council member for the Organization for Autism Research, the Editorial Review Board for the Association for Behavior Analysis International’s journal Behavior Analysis in Practice, the advisory board for the Association for Professional Behavior Analysts, and is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Marrakech, Inc. She has also participated in the establishment of a number of other service organizations and autism-related initiatives.

Additionally, Suzanne is a registered lobbyist for the Connecticut General Assembly and has worked as an advocate on a number of legislative issues within the state of Connecticut including sustainment of funding for those served by the Department of Developmental Services, autism insurance legislation, continuation of public school funding for people with disabilities through theirs 21st school year, and recognition of Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Last, but not least, Suzanne is the parent of a son with autism.

Aimee Haray, M.S., BCBA
Clinical Director, Wolf Harbor Campus

Aimee holds a Master of Science in Behavior Analysis, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and has been in the field of autism treatment since 1997, providing services for children with autism across private schools and group homes as well as home and community settings. Aimee joined CCCD in 1999. During her time she has served as a Direct Instructor, Assistant Clinical Director and is currently a Clinical Director at the Wolf Harbor Campus. Aimee also provides support to the afterschool programs and Adult Day program.

In addition to her responsibilities in and around CCCD, Aimee has presented lectures and workshops on autism and ABA at local and national conferences.

Chelsea Rominiecki, MPA
Director of Development

Chelsea joined CCCD in 2015 as the Director of Development. She oversees fundraising activities for the school and all of its programs. Chelsea holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in Public Administration (with a concentration in nonprofit management), both from The George Washington University. Prior to her employment at CCCD, Chelsea worked for several nonprofit organizations in Washington, DC. She has been in the field of fundraising since 2009.

David E. Kuhn, Ph.D., BCBA-D
Director, Intensive Behavior Treatment Services

Dr. David Kuhn is the Director of the Intensive Behavior Treatment Services program at CCCD. He earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Louisiana State University specializing in intellectual and developmental disabilities. Dr. Kuhn is a licensed psychologist and doctoral-level board certified behavior analyst. Prior to coming to CCCD Dr. Kuhn was the Clinical Director of the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Co-Director of the Behavioral Psychology Program at the Westchester Institute for Human Development, and Senior Behavior Analyst on the Neurobehavioral Unit at Kennedy Krieger Institute. He has held faculty appointments at Columbia University, Weill Cornell Medical College, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Queens College and the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. From 2006-2007 Dr. Kuhn served as President of the Maryland Association for Behavior Analysis. He has been a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2006 and has co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His clinical and research interests focus on the application and adaptation of principles of applied behavior analysis towards skill acquisition and behavior reduction among individuals diagnosed with autism or other intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Elizabeth Cranmer, M.S., BCBA
Clinical Director, Wolf Harbor Campus

Liz holds a Master of Science Degree in Behavior Analysis, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and has been in the field of autism treatment since 2001, providing services for children with autism in private school, home, and community settings. She is currently a Clinical Director at the Wolf Harbor Campus. During her time at CCCD, she has also served as Clinical Director of Outreach Services, providing in-home consultation, professional trainings, as well as mentorship for candidates pursuing their BCBA certification. In addition to her responsibilities in and around CCCD, Liz has presented lectures and workshops on autism and ABA at local and national conferences.

Judith L. Palazzo, M.S., BCBA
Director of Behavioral Services, Across Campuses

Judy holds a Master of Science Degree in Special Education, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and has been in the field of autism treatment since 1990, providing services for children with autism across public and private schools as well as home and community settings. Judy joined CCCD in 1999. During her time here she has served as Clinical Director for both center-based and outreach programs. Currently, she is the Director of Behavioral Services and is responsible for overseeing and supporting all clinical directors for both CT based school programs, the Alaska Center for Autism and our Outreach Program. She ensures that effective student programming, staff/parent training, and continued implementation of ABA strategies are employed across all areas of programming.

In addition to her responsibilities in and around CCCD, Judy has presented lectures and workshops on autism and ABA at national and international conferences, served on the Executive Council of Connecticut ABA, and published in Focus on Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities.

Julio Ruiz, M.S., BCBA
Assistant Director of Outreach Services

Julio holds a Master of Science Degree in Behavior Analysis, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and has been in the field of autism treatment since 2001, providing services for individuals with autism in private school, home, and community settings. Julio began at CCCD in 2001 during his undergraduate career, where he served as an intern. Julio returned to CCCD in 2002, where he has been in many roles from an instructional assistant to a senior behavior analyst. Julio is currently the Assistant Director of Outreach Services.

Kristine Marino, M.S., BCBA
Clinical Director, Boston Post Road Campus

Kristine is a BCBA with a Masters in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas. She has been with CCCD since 2000, and throughout her time here has worked with students across all ages and levels of functioning, in of our CT based campuses and in our Outreach Program. She assisted with the start-up of the Bridgeport Ave campus in 2007, and is currently the Clinical Director of this campus.

Kristine has been an active member of the Connecticut Association for Behavior Analysis, has presented at local and national conferences.

Linda Schraml
Daycare Director

Linda has been providing Daycare services since 1987. Linda has worked in daycare centers in Connecticut and owned a licensed daycare in her home for many years. In 2010 Linda joined CCCD and began the licensing process for our Daycare in preparation for the official opening of the daycare on June 1, 2011. Linda has studied Early Child Care and continues her education by attending workshops/training every year. Linda brings her experience and training to all staff of the daycare.

Lisa Chaffin, M.S.
Principal / Director of Special Education, Across Campuses

Lisa holds a Master of Science Degree in Serious Emotional Disabilities, is a certified special education teacher, and has completed her advanced studies degree and 092 certification in Educational Leadership. She has been in the field of autism since 2002, providing services for children with autism in private school, home and community settings. Lisa joined CCCD in 2003. During her time here she has served as a Special Education Teacher and is currently the Principal / Director of Special Education.

Rebecca Pleckaitis
Special Education Coordinator, Boston Post Road Campus

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and is certified in Special Education and Elementary Education. She is completing her masters with a specialization in Autism. She has been teaching special education since 2005, and programmed for students with special needs in both residential facilities and public school before joining CCCD in 2008. Rebecca has previously served as a Special Education Teacher at CCCD, and is currently the Special Education Coordinator at the Bridgeport Ave Campus. She provides support for students in grades K-12, overseeing programming and IEP development and implementation for students with higher functioning autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. She is responsible for consulting with special education teachers in developing goals and objectives related to transition planning, grade level curriculum, inclusion and social skills. She is also a TEAM mentor for the Connecticut Teacher Induction Program.

Megan McCarron, M.S., BCBA
Director of Support Services, Across Campuses

Megan holds a Master of Science Degree in Child Development, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and has been in the field of autism treatment since 1992. Megan has expericne providing services for children with autism in private school, home and community settings. She joined CCCD in 1999. During her time at CCCD, she has served as an Assistant Director in what is now the Wolf Harbor Campus, the Clinical Director at the Bridgeport Ave. Campus and is currently overseeing the RBT training program across campuses.

In addition to her responsibilities in and around CCCD, Megan has presented lectures and workshops on autism and Behavior Analysis at local and national conferences.

Tracy Sanford, M.S.
Assistant Principal /Assistant Director of Special Education

Tracy holds a Master of Science Degree in Special Education, and is a certified Special Education Teacher. She has been teaching and programming for students with autism since 2002, providing services for children in the home for 1 year in New Jersey and then joining CCCD in 2003. Tracy has previously served as a Special Education Teacher at CCCD, and is currently an Assistant Director of Special Education at the Wolf Harbor Campus. She provides support for students ages 15 and up, overseeing programming and IEP development and implementation, while consulting with special education teachers in developing transition goals and objectives. Along with transition planning for students, she consults in developing school based job training, on-site work opportunities for students and community based programming.
